Qualified students will be eligible to participate in the counselling process for admission into engineering colleges accepting NTA JEE Main 2022 scores. The paper 1 of JEE Main 2022 is conducted for admission into the BTech programmes in 31 NITs, 25 IIIT and 28 GFTIs, while the paper 2 is held for BArch/ BPlan admissions.
Earlier, the authorities have released the JEE Mains admit card 2022 session 2 on July 21 at the official website. NTA has conducted the JEE Mains 2022 session 2 exam from July 25 to 30. The authorities have announced the session 1 JEE Main result 2022 for paper 1 on July 11 in online mode. The JEE Main result 2022 link has been activated at jeemain.nta.nic.in 2022. The NTA JEE Main 2022 registration for session 2 had been reopened twice. The first reopening was from July 6 to 9, while the second reopening was from July 11 to 12.
The JEE Mains 2nd attempt registration link was earlier available online from June 1 to 30, 2022. The JEE Main 2022 session 2 exam date is officially declared. This year NTA has made many changes for JEE Mains 2022. Check the points mentioned below.
Marking Scheme: This year, NTA has introduced negative marking for section B also. Earlier, there was no negative marking in numerical type questions.
Increase in exam centres: NTA has increased JEE Main 2022 exam centres to 501 cities in India and 13 centres abroad. Applicants will be allowed to choose 4 exam centres while completing the JEE Main 2nd attempt registration.
Number of attempts: This year NTA has decided to conduct the JEE Main 2022 exam in two sessions - June and July.
Correction window: NTA will provide the JEE Main application correction facility after the conclusion of application process.

NTA has reopened the JEE Main 2022 application form phase 2 on the official website. The authorities opened the JEE Main 2022 registration process separately for both sessions, students can apply for all the sessions in one go.
How to fill NTA JEE Main Application form 2022
Candidates should follow the below given steps to fill out the JEE Main application form hassle-free.
Step 1 - Registration - Firstly, candidates have to complete the JEE Main 2022 registration by providing some basic details such as email id, contact number, and name. Candidates will also have to create a password and answer the security questions during NTA JEE Main registration. Upon successful registration, a unique JEE Main 2022 application number will be generated. Save the registration number as it will be used for all the further logins.
Step 2 - Complete application form - In the next step, candidates have to login to the account using the generated application number and password and submit all the required details.
Step 3 - Upload the documents - All the relevant documents need to be uploaded in the specified format.

The authorities have released the eligibility criteria for JEE Main 2022 at the official website. JEE Main Cutoff 2022
The minimum marks required by the candidates for admission into colleges accepting JEE Main scores is mentioned in the cutoff of JEE Main 2022. Only those candidates who meet the cutoff will be eligible for admissions. Note that the authorities will release two types of cut off - admission cutoff and qualifying cutoff. NTA JEE Main 2022 admission cutoff will be the opening and closing ranks for admissions into the participating institutes, whereas the qualifying cutoff is provided along with the scorecards.

NTA JEE Main Counselling 2022
Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) conducts JEE Main 2022 counselling for admission into the participating institutes. The counselling process will be conducted in online mode. Around seven rounds will be conducted by the authorities to provide admission into the B.E/B.Tech courses offered by NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. JEE Main 2022 seat allocation will be done on the basis of availability of seat, preferred choices, and merit.
